THIS IS HUGE!!!!!!!!

Frogchin.com has partnered with a brand new national music television and satellite network called YMCtv (Your Music Channel Television). YMCtv will be completely dedicated to the promotion of independent music. The scope of the project is absolutely massive in both it’s concepts and the powerful affiliations that will be backing them.

YMCtv plans to broadcast independent music on it’s own Cable and Satellite TV channels as well as Satellite Radio. The companies that will be providing the broadcasts are the biggest names in both Satellite TV and Radio. These affiliations will be announced in the very near future. The broadcasts will reach a MINIMUM of 11 million homes ,so right now you’re probably starting to see why we’re so excited. Frogchin.com will be a direct provider of content for review and consideration for inclusion in this project.

YMCtv’s first show will be a series called “City Sessions”. It will be similar to MTV unplugged and AOL Sessions. Starting with Dallas, Texas, YMCtv will travel to at least 20 major cities across the United States and film 10 bands in each city. This will be an in-studio production that will be filmed in half-day segments with each artist/band getting to spend a full half-day in a recording studio. YMCtv will provide all production, direction, and editing for free to you and if chosen you go out to 11 million homes!

I have to stop every now and again and type—

sirius new digital music group formed

ken ,

first to the board members ..always check out Kens site, read the surveys....check out the new artist ...dont worry about spam emails or mailing list....just honest information from a truely vocal industry person that tends to cut through all the crap and get's directly to the heart of the issue's at hand

http://www.audiographics.com/

i think your comment "so what" is on the money.........with many.

i tend to agree completely with your thoughts, on this issue.. what's really required is they pay the artist ,its basicly a very disruptive concept that should soon roar through the industry along with wallstreet the real battle for " Music Broadcasting " has just launched with (wdmg)

maybe some of us should ask ken a few question's via the link below,

Online Music's New Competitor
Word of a new partnership that's forming in online music is making the rounds in investment circles. World Digital Music Group (WDMG) has announced formation of YMCTV Productions, and the hiring of "Larry Namer to develop next-generation multi-platform music programs for a variety of distribution outlets, including cable, broadcast, broadband, wireless, satellite, Internet, and foreign markets...Namer is the founder of E! Entertainment Television, Movies USA, Comspan Communications and other highly successful entities...."Already owner of YMC Records, WDMG is expanding its reach into the independent music arena by offering "City Sessions" which shows "the music scene in major cities across the country." Ten episodes of this program have already been shot. Now, you might be giving this a "so what" reaction, but there are reasons to believe that WDMG will be making inroads rapidly: It's partnered companies include RadioShack, Dish Network, and Sirius Satellite Radio.
